We hate spam and never ever sell your email to other businesses for any kind of marketing purposes. Just so you’re clear on exactly how we process and use your information, this Privacy Policy sets it all out for you – for example the when and why we collect your information.

Mmm. We wondered that ourselves. ?

Here’s what we’ve figured out about cookies* – they’re techy language for making the website run a little smoother and giving you a more personalised experience.  As a rule, cookies will make your browsing experience better

Mostly how that works for our site is that we use a third party service (Google Analytics) to collect standard internet log information and details of our visitors’ experience, like how many dropped in to visit on any day. This info is only ever processed in a way that means we cannot identify anyone. And we do not make (nor allow Google to) any attempt to figure out exactly who they are.

*Fun fact my chocolate chip cookie recipe is voted THE best in the world by my family and friends.

When you sign up for The Daisy Patch Weekly or any of our freebies you get in on all the valuable tools, tips and insights we share. We do collect some personal info at this point – simply your name, email address and sometimes your region. This info helps us to get to know you a bit more, deliver the letter to your inbox and personalise your experience of being part of our community. Which means we may check in from time to time to make sure you are super happy and satisfied with your experience too. We never sell your details on to any other businesses. Because frankly, that just sux!

We use a third-party provider, Mailchimp, to deliver this newsletter to you. We love them because not only do they have a super cute chimp as their mascot (don’t worry he’s not real), they also treat you and your privacy just as seriously as us. You can check out their privacy policy here if you’re into that sorta thing.

They help us get to know our community even more and we get to see things like email opens and clicks.  This helps us monitor and improve our communication with you. Oh and you are totally in control of unsubscribing from our newsletter at any time. Literally. Wake up at 3am and feel the need, go for it! There’s always an ‘unsubscribe’ link on the emails we send you.

Our workshop venues vary and if you are redirected to another venue’s website you can check out all their Privacy Policy on their site. For some of our events we’ll use a third-party system, usually Eventbrite, to process the tickets. (We’ll be super clear with you if we use any other ticketing system). We only ever collect personal information that we need, like your name (so we can greet you on the day! ?), email address so we can send you event details and sometimes a phone number in case we need to check in prior to the event. As always we never sell off your details to other businesses.

Great! You are completely entitled to view, amend or even delete any personal information that we hold. We just ask that you email us directly at [email protected] so that we can process this for you pronto.

We’ll check in annually on our Privacy Policy and make sure it’s still serving you and giving you all the details you need. If at any time you have any additional questions we haven’t covered email us directly at [email protected] and we’ll get the answer for you.

We updated this one on 18th May 2018.
