Are you a bottler? I used to always hold my emotions so close to myself worried what people would think if they knew what was going on inside. From the outside looking in I was strong and confident and never got upset. What I learnt over time is the more I held tightly, the more the emotions found other ways to escape and not always in healthy ways.
Having a closer relationship to our emotions actually has a strong affect on our physical and mental wellbeing – contributing to improvements to our immune system, ability to handle stress, and even our levels of resilience.
